I have a set of some big black and yellow ones, either 4 or 6 tons...rarely use them since the hi-lift is easier

Sears also sells a 3T high lift jack stand, but it's only a couple inches longer than the standard. Depends if you have extended travel shocks or not I guess. Gotta have droop :)

    Lmk, I'll hang out :)

I have 2 creepers cause my dream is to find a hot girl to wrench with.. And my stands are enough to lift from the frame if placed right, but I do use a block of wood on my jack to get the truck on to the stands.
    More da droid though :p
    So you got it?

can anyone answer this for me, friend of mine is having issues with his 2012 and toyota told him they WILL NOT do any work on his vehicle due to his oversized tires and that it voids his powertain warranty. he needs to go in due to a nasty engine noise which I believe is pinging. I rode in the truck and it def sounds like it esp going up hill. I could be wrong tho

edit: found a vid on youtube which resembles the sound. could be a bad bearing

What dealer did he take it to? Ask to speak to the manager, then call the corporate customer service and see where it goes form there.

I still have to follow up on my rear axle, been over a year since I last talked to them about it and they said they call me back in a month or so..

    get to know the truck

or you'll end up like me

a long time ago, before I started wrenching my own shit, I had a local shop put on a diff drop for me

before I learned diff drops are horseshit, but I digress

as I'm working on my bumper, I remove my stock bumper and the stock skid

the shop apparently didn't use the skid spacers I gave them. Instead, they used a couple mismatched washers wrapped in electrical tape

Can't go over their head to the North America Division of Toyota? I'd call the BBB then.
