Just made an order through Wheeler's... including Dakar leafs shipping through Hawaii air cargo... wish me luck for shipping charges to come !

 

I hope all the Pelfrey stuff arrives that week. My wife said she's going to help me install.

 

Hmmm...not sure if we'll get our stuff by then. I don't think it will be shipped till late this month or early Nov. Then it's gonna be the Nina, Pinta, and the Santa Maria coming over from the mainland. I don't think it will be air cargo. So...If I was a betting man...don't bet on it...

 

Well then, I want to meet you guys at Peacock flats during the day and get my truck off of the pavement. How do I sign up for that?

 

You just going for the day or u doing camping? If for the day you can sign up for a day pass. For overnite you would need to reserve a campsite or if not latch on to rick or iven campsite.

 

I'm trying to just go for the day. How do I go about getting a day pass? I would need to follow someone up...I have no idea where to go there.

 

Which day u going? Ron might go up Sunday. It's about a hour drive into the campsite. On the state website for camping there should be an option for a day pass.

 

Are you going to go? I haven't thought about which day would be better. I like the idea of going Saturday and clean truck on Sunday.

If you are just going for the day and not camping just need to get a day pass. Need to go down get the pass. Here is the info Ron posted on page 4. It's on the hiking permit at DLNR. Address: 1151 Punchbowl St.
Rm 325. 808-587-0166. Tell them you want to drive the Kuaokala-Mokuleia Trail. Not Hike. The form is simple. Just fill out and Have the license plate #'s of the 5 trucks with you.

 

Or you don't have to drive anywhere except for the Campsite if you spend the night!!

 

Here's the deal....I talked my wife into letting my son and I camp over night. He always wanted to use our tent. You think there's room for us? If so, where do I sign up for that shizz?

 

Wait till after tomorrow and we'll see how many sites we got. Then we can add the people

Just so everyone knows...Miles has a working portable shower. It's a bring your own water setup... And for the safety of the Non-Navy types...soap on a rope will be provided...
