so after picking up my rear bumper from the awesome guys who put together the group buy, I seen some of the trucks and damn the mod bug got me again lol. contacted dustin at fn wheels and they got some deals on the countersteer type x 16x8.

    this is from his email
We currently have the dark metallic blue and the matte bronze 16x8" Konig Countersteer Type X wheels on special for 20% off. The cost would be $560 for the wheels + $199 for shipping for a total of $759 shipped. We will include lug nuts for you as well (no charge). The special price is only for dark metallic blue or matte bronze, and only while current supplies last.

thought id share if anyone was looking for some wheels. im NOT gonna get these at the moment. I had the cc out of his hiding spot but ima hold off for some 17s

Back to the Kaena point ordeal. KHON has put up more info on what's going on. It says that DLNR will be issuing permits that will be good for a year that grants access to go into Kaena pt. The 2 days that permits will be issued will be on the 20th and 22nd. On the 22nd there will be 2 places where you van apply for a permit. Don't know if every vehicle needs a permit to gain access, but it sounds like it does. Check out KHON's site for more info.

Edit* maybe we can go on Saturday morning at Waialua elementary to apply for the permits, then head down to Kaena pt.? Just throwing it out there if anyone was interested.

"Enforcement officers will be on the lookout for drivers straying from the marked paths and anyone caught off-roading can be issued a citation"...

So... Looks like they just want people on the main road and some access roads to get to the water. A bunch of the area where people were having "fun" the last time I was there looks to be gone.. That hill that Ratha was going up...gone...

One person gets the code, throws it on FB and now that combination is meaningless... Or someone doesn't redo the lock, and worthless...

State M.O... possibly a good idea, but really bad execution..

Looks like we all need to have more outings at Peacock Flats.
I hope they're not going to be too strict about Kaena Pt.

Your right about giving the combo to friends. It's bound to happen.

looks like a shitty place for a light post. I've never a pillar with that much damage...wonder if enough people complained, they'd move it somewhere else.
