Tomorrow I've got a lot of work to do. I need to take apart my headlights, clean them out, and re-seal them! Plus I'm gonna try and scrub down my frame now that I have some extra clearance to get to it lol.

Yeah I had these tires on my old Ranger from high school. Love them.

I've got some clear silicone that I used before but it didn't work very well so I think I'm gonna have to grab some black butyl.

They are normally $70 each, but Amanda at truck fest gave me the pair for $94. A little pricy but I wanted to see how good the little lights were.

I was very bummed I did not get my truck today! I took Thursday and Friday off work since they said it was only a two day instal... Now I have to mooch a ride to work Monday and hope that they can get it finished by Monday night. That bumper and winch has been kicking there ass since Friday and to top it off they said that they got the labor wrong and it was taking longer that I would have to pay another $300! WTF.

But thanks Nate for taking the pick of her. I know it will be all worth the wait :-/

 

Is the bumper made for the pre-2012?

Yeah....All of that sucks! But, by looking at the stance of your truck and the partial shape of your bumper on the ground....like you said , it's gonna be all worth it !!!!! Also, will your skid plate still work on your truck? If not, ill buy it

 

It's a a new bumper that was made for the updated front end of the 12/13 Tacomas. It was just released by ARB not to long ago. It's a sick looking bumper, I5runner has one on his 13 sport long bed. That bumper looks like it can take a few hits!

 

Yea, the bumper is made for the 12-13, but it still requires cutting of the factory bumper.

Don't tell them it was me who said this (I want to stay on their good graces so my truck can be in TF again next year), but if you have the labor quote in writing, I would tell them you are not going to pay $300 extra, if you pay any extra at all. They should have known about the issue and been better prepared for it. The redesigned truck has been out for more than a year, and I know ARB had released something a while back about fitment because even I, the Nissan owner, saw it
