had to dismantle my garage (tent) because it nearly blew over last night

found a small bucket in a mac nut tree this morning, which I find incredible

and there was a solid gallon of water in the bed of my truck

 

Anyone no where I can buy oil toyota oil filters in bulk?

 

I wonder if this will pass recon...

I wonder what took place of the bed, is that a slide out cargo hold, or a huge fuel cell?

It's cool, but I wonder what the purpose is of not having the bed other than looks? He still needs to tie things down and needs a rail frame to keep things on the top from sliding off. I think you lose too much hauling capability with that setup. Still...looks cool though...

 

The inlaws neighbor has a old school yota lifted with flat bed it's clean and restored last time I saw it look like he got into an accident tho other than that it's the cleanest one I've seen restored and he goes 4x4 all the time plenty red dirt on the road lol

 

Most people do it to save weight and make the bed shorter for less overhang. Improves the departure angle. But removing the plastic bed, he may have made it heavier. Funny to see a truck built like that with inverted shackles, still. I'm sure his project is far from over, but I like where its going!

 

Yeah, if I got rid of my bed, I'd have shock hoops and longer shocks too. The slide out storage looks pretty trick, whatever it may be.

 

You can keep your bed and still do it! C'mon, I wanna see.

hey guys, I've got a deployment coming up and want to try and get the LR UCAs on before I head out. I've seen a couple UCA installs but never done it myself, anyone want to lend a hand? I'll supply pizza and beer

Not sure yet, was trying to see if there was any interest to help. I don't have a garage (apt living) but I'm AF, so I think I would the auto hobby shop at the NEX or on Hickam could be good locations.
