I swear my next tires will be Hankook 295 MT's. Cause I'm skerrd to get the 315's.

in a similar boat an i'm torn.....

ko2 and mtr's both look good, but also interested in 295s

love to keep my 255's...but they're almost bald and $300/ea on Amazon.

if I change size, would be wasting a 255 spare

 

Speaking of alignment, I gotta get mine done. Guess I should install the 884's first. Never ending I tell you. I curse you Tacoma World site,you are like crack,,,, addicting.

 

You should get the 295's. I want to see them in real life.

 

This guy has the opposite problem with his tires wearing on the outside...

 

was seriously considering the Toyo 295s...but Amazon won't ship em here.

64lbs is pretty hefty...i'd probably have to get gears

 

I'm wondering if you readjusted the coils and aligned after adding all the weight from the armor, bumper, and winch. Maybe the added weight lowered the ride height, creating negative camber.

 

So true... Same with my lift.
I was driving I traffic out to mililani and I was looking at all the other tacomas on the road and thought that they made mine look tiny.. Then I realized that one had a 3" lift too... Then one had a 6" drop braket, and another looked like a bulletproof 9" drop bracket/ spindle/ full leaf pack, no blocks. But we all look like we had 33s! Maybe the bulletproof had 35s. Driving a tacoma in hawaii is like being a grain of sand on the beach!

 

I really want 33's

but I know I'll end up with a lot of rubbage, and will eventually want to regear since these 80lb tires already suck up power; 33's will be worse

but after the regear and getting the power back, and after trimming to make em fit, I will inevitably want 35's.

then it's just a downward spiral

so I'm forced to sit on my hands while my truck looks like it "might" lift, but it also "might" skip leg day

 

I'll jump on this bandwagon.
