Yes. Even if they came with bulbs from the factory.
I wish we did trucks. I wouldn't be going through this nonsense.

 

Since I was off from work today I went down to get my recon paperwork updated with the front and rear plate bumpers. Everything went smoothly and I even paid for a new sticker since I moved my old one from the stock bumper to the new. The guys were pretty cool and didn't say anything about the Rigid lights on the bumpers.

There were a couple of old Toyota's that had straight axle conversions that looked like they didn't pass the inspection. One had makeshift mud flaps that the inspector didn't like I guess.

 

my diehard platinum marine batt was starting to have trouble cranking the truck up so sears replaced it today. only lasted 2 years...good thing it came with the 3 year warranty.

 

Congrats with the company! I'll hit you up when I finally order my ARB locker and Nitro gears. Looking at end of May right now. Also wondering if you or anyone else you know does installs. Probably also price out tires in the future.

 

they do make up their own shit. thats a old manual there is a 2014 edition. and most likely a 2015 edition. haha dead serious!

howzit everybody need some advice bought a 6in fabtech basic kit ( its a surprise for the wife) been throwing me hints the last couple of months. What else can I do to make the truck a more comfortable ride?

 

did it have a flatbed? i think 70s style?

get some coilovers for sure. most of the 6in fabtechs i rode in were stiff...i didnt mind but i hear a ton of complaints

 

is selling a vehicle on oahu very time consuming? i know here in the bay area a clean tacoma gets snatched up quickly. i am curious as i am working on oahu and need a vehicle for 3 months this summer, it is expensive to rent, so i am debating buying a cheaper vehicle and trying to sell it here, or shipping my truck out there. only living there for 3 months is the biggest issue! on a side note, if anyone has a car or truck they want to rent, i will be needing a vehicle from 06/15-09/15! I have good insurance and a clean driving record. let me know if anyone has an extra vehicle!

depends on the car and how much you're asking for. at least if you ship here you know exactly what you're dealing with. no gambling on a sale and price.

 

thanks for the advice. just curious, are there many younger people near kapolei? im working on that side of town 4 days a week but am leaning towards living near waikiki so i can be with other students... even though people keep warning me about the horrible traffic!
