I'm not sure about the replacement bolts.
I'd use a grinder with a cutoff wheel, since you'll have to cut 8 bolts. It would be a total PITA, but it can be done with a hacksaw but positioning the saw is hard under there.

That's kinda effed up, some people just has no respect for other people's personal belongings. Either that or he/she pissed off someone. That's what I'm paranoid about haha(knock on wood). That's why avoid going out in crowded public places. Always take the gf's Tc haha.

2 options... either put your old UCAs on, or I think I have some spacers that sarah sent me that I was going to use prior to me figuring out my timbrens

Look at these, also just use a grinder and cutting wheel to take off the excess

I used my sawzall to cut mine. If you turn the blade so it's doing a flush cut then it's pretty easy to get the cut nice. You can use anything to cut it, just cut them with the nut threaded on so you can remove the nut after cutting to re-thread the cut portion.

I'm sure Rick @squint0241 and I are in the minority but I thought I'd share my experience with the CravenSpeed antenna. I usually can't catch sheeznit on FM until I hit Kalani High headed west (I had to say west so Rick can follow along). And I usually can catch AM no problem from the house till I cross over. But with this new "Stubby" antenna I could only catch 104.3 and I'm talking about driving through town on the H1! WTFranks? I knew there would be a trade off but I didn't think I'd be stuck with one FM station and no AM signals sitting in the middle of Honolulu. Anyway this one is headed back if nothing changes. Heysus Christ!!!

Well some guys have had some fair to midland experiences and I though I'd try my luck. Living out here in HK I can't catch diddly anyway so I thought what the heck might as well try. But c'mon from Waikiki to Honolulu and I can't even catch AM?!?

What have you done to your truck lately
What did you expect from a stubby antenna.:anonymous: The smaller you go on antenna you loose DB signal strength. There is a reason why the antenna is a certain length. Just my 0.02 cents

if you want a good stubby, try one from a Honda Element. I did that for my Celica and I think the threads and everything fits.

Well like I said in HK a full mast antenna or nothing and it's still the same reception. I just didn't think sitting in the middle of town I would have the same result as NO antenna. I did have "lowered expectations". Figured AM would still catch at the very least.

Thanks. Or I may so the "cut down" like everyone is suggesting. I just like a clean factory look if at all possible.
