Could you please provide the Tracking info?
I need to provide it to Jason so he can give his team a heads up. He's expecting another pallet this week, too.

 

We do not have tracking info as it is on a container ship. All we get is the pro number from the driver who is picking it up. the number is #2471570 and the date shipped 12/22. THey cannot provide us with tracking info. They will call 1-310-324-8955 to let them know the shipment has made it into port.

Mike Meier just replied to my PM. He said that was the number for the shop he was given.

However, I don't remember providing a telephone number...only a mailing address. Is this going to be a big issue?

If so, is there any way we can update the contact telephone number? They could call me or Jason (PM'ed Mike Meier with Jason's telephone number).

 

I'd guess the holidays may slow things down a little, but copy and pasted the following from their website:

To Hawaii:
H2O Logistics has two sailings per week to Hawaii, sailing from Long Beach port every Wednesday and Saturday.

Vessel transit times:
To Honolulu: 4 days

After the vessel docks into port, we will have the containers unloaded and ready for will call or delivery within 48 hours.

 

Does this mean our container should have arrived on Sunday, 25 DEC, since it shipped out last Wednesday, 21 DEC?

If so, they would have unloaded the containers Monday and Tuesday, 26-27 DEC...but, like you said...due to the holidays, it could be delayed a bit.

The only concern is that H2O is calling the wrong person to successfully have it delivered to American Machinery.

 

My guess is it didn't make the Wednesday boat. If they had a boat leave on Christmas Eve, possibly be ready for delivery this weekend?

 

Just called them up...should be ready for delivery Friday at the earliest. If not, Monday or Tuesday.

Definitely available on Friday or Monday. Tuesday is no bueno for me!

EDIT: Jason just told me that Friday is a half day for his shop, and they are closed for Monday, due to New Years Eve and New Years Day observed.

 

If the delivery guys are able to call me, I can meet them on Friday or Monday but we won't have a forklift to offload the pallet after noon on Friday, or all day on Monday.

Do you think they delivery guys will have a forklift to offload? Or would they be able to wait for us to breakdown the pallet and offload piece-by-piece?

 

I think they will be able to hold it until it can be delivered to help you guys out. Not sure they will bring a forklift without charging extra $$. I may be wrong but they charge us more to bring a forklift here in the states.

 

Any chance they can call me when it's ready for delivery from the port to the shop (American Machinery) in Kapolei? Also, best time would be Friday morning.

 

Whoever called them should be able to leave a number for them to call back. I am not sure where I got the number we have on our account for you guys.
