    ^^this. ID copies can be used to make fakes to gain access on base. this is why most bases now are going to the card scanners to verify the authenticity of the CAC.

    Definitely a bold statement saying that public service workers serve a greater good - no disagreement in principle from me...

    On another note, when you send your ID, watermark in a "VOID" or "For identity verification only" so that they may see you are active but would need some intense skills to remove the watermark if they wanted to abuse your ID.
