5/15 tint, NFab step bars, Viper SST, Weathertech floor liners, Toyo A/T IIs on 17x9 XD Menace wheels. Lift - SPC LR UCAs, Wheelers 3 pc AAL, OME N140s, N182 and 885 w/ TP spacers.
Installed one of these switches as well, but like others mentioned the backlighting is opposite -
Using a meter, found out the dimming circuit is reversed.
When dash lights are turned down, voltage increases.
Anyone know a way to fix this so the switch dims with the dash lights?

What kind of connection is behind those switch? Does it need an harness or it can receive a kinda universal male / female connector?

It came with the harness. The Harness has 4 wires. Power, relay, dead and a connection to plug into the running lights if desired in that order.

It is hard to find the wiring diagram on line. The vendor doesn't list it on their website and you only get one after you buy the switch. This is what you get with each switch:

How would I wire this if I'm just adding an on/off switch to wires that already exists? I'm adding an on off switch in my DTRL wire.

I have three of them in my truck. I wired them to the factory ground that dims with the rest of the dash lights and they dim with the factory lights just fine. I love them.

Any chance you could take a pic of the two wires you taped into and corresponding AOB wires? I'm going to be wiring up three of these switches in the next couple weeks and a total novice.

What type of connector did you use to connect the AOB wires to the wire coming off the tap?
