Well I hate to ask a stupid question guys, but I can't seem to find the location of the OBD2 port on my 1997 4WD standard cab truck. It's supposed to be right there under the lower dash panel I thought, near the fuse box, accessible without any tools. Am I looking right at it??? I have a good idea what it should look like I thought...Thanks!

Not near the fuse box, but under the steering wheel and a little right when sitting in the seat, very near the center console.

Thanks....Will I need tools to access it or can I just lay down there and see it easy?

You'll be able to see it if you just lay there. Like dually said, its close to the center console and it's up front close to where the edge of the plastic is.
