Question: does the older PID package work correctly for the 2023 Tacoma?

I saw something about configuring the app as an older model year.

Has anybody done this successfully with a 2023 Tacoma?

I originally set Fusion to my 2023 Tacoma including the VIN number.
Later, I bought the 2021 Enhanced Diagnostics for 2021.
    This downloaded and installed correctly.

However, I cannot see any of the enhanced PIDS.

Would somebody please take a moment to detail the steps to get this working?
I am thinking I might have to discard this vehicle then recreate it as a 2021, without installing the VIN.

I did this, and still do not have access to the enhanced PIDS.
Is the VIN for my 2023 getting in the way?
If so, can I delete this vehicle from the App, then recreate as a 2021 without VIN?

Uninstall the app, reinstall and repeat the process

My VIN did not prevent me from downloading the enhanced add-ons for my 2023. The adapter will pull the VIN as soon as it's paired to the truck anyway. I just set the year as 2021 after it was paired. I just did a factory reset on my phone for other reasons, and had to re-do this process last week. Make sure you select the correct engine.

If you have to reset your phone what happens to the purchased OBD Fusion and the Enhanced package? How do you reinstall without buying again?

I bought the enhanced add-on AFTER setting the vehicle as a 2023. I should probably delete and recreate the vehicle as a 2021

I had an issuer where my phone (apple) lost the PDIS. Thought it was bad luck and went to repurchase through OBD fusion. I got a pop up that said it looks like you already purchased this, would you like to download again? Downloaded no issues, No charge.

I have the ODB Link MX+ reader, so enhanced add ons are free. Maybe this is the difference? What OBD reader are you using?

This thread is specific to the OBD Fusion app running on an iPhone.
