    I can tell you the 2nd gen tacoma has limited use for the factory tool, which is called "Techstream"

    On any other vehicle from 2005+ theres lots of functionality, but tacoma is very simple and a lot of modules can't even be accessed with the factory scanner.

    You autel is more than enough, buy a better scanner if you ever have ABS or SRS issues.
