Hah, most definitely because it was a Chevy!

Probably just a bad unit, mine gets warm, and my dad's gets warm but not hot at all.

So, trans temp works, the other two posted in the other thread work as well. Apparently the Tacoma doesn't have a temp sensor (or at least an output to obd) for oil temp, can't find anything on psi either. Setting the correct wifi settings work with allowing data to come in via wifi. If there is something else you want me to try just let me know. Otherwise it's about time you buy what you need!!

Lastly, I reset my vehicle data, it currently shows 18.5 mpg avg. which is very close to my 17.8 Fuelly avg. That's on about 30 miles of travel so not a bunch but mainly city with a bit of interstate.

would be interested in knowing if anyone has been able to get fuel level and range to work on dashcommand with a Tacoma. I just started using Dashcommand, I like it.... but fuel range would be nice.

This from the publishers of DashCommand:

    Hello,

Our fuel feature is currently being adjusted to be more user friendly, keep in mind that in order to get accurate readings you will need to be connected to the vehicle 100% of the time that vehicle is in operation and you must be connected to your vehicle to make any adjustments. Open Dashcommand and go to the Dashboard page, at the bottom of this page you will see a fuel pump icon, please double tap this icon to enter the fill-up page. Make sure you have also entered the correct fuel type and fuel tank size in the vehicle manager page.

So I got the OBD fusion app, also purchased the Toyota PID add-ons and it works great. The one question I have is that it has two transmission temp a/t temp 1 and a/t temp 2. They are both close in temp when looking at them side by side but temp 2 does seem to be 2-3 degrees higher. Does anybody know which one to use for checking transmission fluid level ? Or which one is better to use?

Did you purchase the add-on within the app? I’m having trouble finding the a/t temp PID. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone use the Fusion app with two or more vehicles?

I’ve got the OBDLink MX (Bluetooth). Works great with my Mustang and laptop through Forscan, hoping its gonna work just as well with my iPhone through Fusion.

    Thanks!
