OBDII Engine Code P0202 and P0302 Check Engine and Trac off light

Anybody run into this situation like I did this morning, once I pushed the ECT PWR button the misfire went away and engine had full power as before as I had a hard time accelerating. I Put 93 Octane in the already half full tank thinking it might be bad 87 Octane gas before.

P0202 Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinder 2
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected

2018 TRD Off-road with 70000 miles

 

Now the Check Engine Light is OFF

 

Yeah, your first hunch may be right. I think you just got a hold of some bad gas.

 

Sounds like the computer thinks/sees an open or short for that cylinder.

 

Forgot to mention the Fuel Pump recall was performed last month, possibly contaminated fuel or stuck fuel filter you think?

 

I'd take a close look at the wiring to the injector.

 

Varmits?

 

I don't see any wiring damage.
