Hi, my name is nihil, and I'm an addict. I have sinned extensively in many forms of motorized transportation, and my latest relapse has me in a 2015 Tacoma TRD/off-road/tow packaged truck in some sort of a metallic olive/brown'ish dress (4T3 "Pyrite Mica").

I'm going to attempt to leave this one mostly stock, as it's my "I'm going to try to be an adult" vehicle, but it'll be getting shoe'd in a set of BFG A/T KO2's to match the 4Runner, and a few other small odds and ends along with a couple cosmetic things here and there.

That's it for now. I'll be in the corner under my rock.

Welcome! Minimal mods and Tacoma World are two mutually exclusive ideas but good luck with that. Feel free to post a pic, everyone always loves pics. Pyrite mica was my second choice for color and sometimes I wish it was my first choice of color if I am being honest. And, "....a few other small odds and ends...." is how it often begins but rarely ends!

    Thanks all for the welcomes.

So ~24hrs later, despite my "want to keep it mostly stock'" intent, first round looks like:

    Yes list:
    - Aforementioned KO2 shoes, stock wheels as I (surprisingly) kinda like them
    - PIAA yellow/2500k H11 bulbs for the fogs because white fog lights are stupid
    - Yellow Lamin-X over the fog lenses for that super duper euro look while the lights are off
    - Jumping the fog light relay for independent operation
    - Matte black wrap for chrome grille surround
    - Front and rear dashcams, probably Mobius, as I've liked them in my other cars
    - USB charge ports
    - Rubber floor mat set, probably Husky X-act Contour

    Probably list:
    - Remote start (anyone used the MPC kit based around the Crimestopper RS0/Fortin EVO?)
    - Skid plates, because skid plates
    - Better light for the bed, has 'Undercover' hard tonneau cap with dinky LED, probably 3D printer and cannibalized flashlight solution

    Maybe list:
    - Matte black wrap for front/rear bumpers
    - Matte black wrap for fender flares
    - Bull bar of some sort, don't want to go full bumper treatment as I have another more burly off-roader for that (W460)
    - Swap the Entune for Android based head unit (if I can find one that retains steering wheel controls and rear view cam)

    Question list:
    - Is it possible to upgrade the Entune plus to have navigation? I know it has a GPS module feeding it coordinates, and being app based I would think it's just a software upgrade, and I keep reading that Scout sucks and I couldn't get it to connect anyway.
    - I read somewhere that the Entune is Android based, has anyone flashed their own build to it?
    - Assuming 'no' to the above, has anyone taken one apart far enough to find JTAG or USB pins/connectors?
    - What is the favored software for interfacing with ECU/CAN bus/control modules?
    - Source for FSM? PM me if it's not kosher to share in public

    Thanks.
