So I’ve been spending more time trying to figure the squeak out. I loosened my top strut bolt. The one in the middle of the strut. With it loose and the pressure of the bushing, the noise was gone. mill have to get a new bushing to confirm. But this is the first time I’ve got the noise to go away.

Thats pretty interesting. Could the order be wrong for the bushings and washers?

Guess that’s possible. A shop did the install. Now that I found the noise, I am a little more optimistic of getting it resolved.

We’re yours prebuilt from IM? I’m not sure you’d be able to see if the bushing is good under the top hat.
Maybe a bad bushing, maybe something it’s rubbing on in there. Could try a little rubber safe spray and see if that helps. Try and spray under as well.

UPDATE SOLVED: Ended up being the spherical bearing for my King's (fronts) where they bolt to the lower control arm (part number B1058 for those looking). Squeak / creak is now 100% gone. Jimahajer Garage in La Habra diagnosed it and I just had them do the bearing swap since they were very familiar with doing it and I just wanted the squeak gone ASAP. Definitely would recommend them, they had some sweet rigs at the shop (fyi, they said they're moving locations to a bigger shop this week and will be opened back up soon).

@Superhulk LB .... I think we have the same horrendous squeak. I installed the parts myself so I'm pretty sure I have the bushings on the top mount correctly installed. I suspect it's the UCA bushings.
You had the IM's UCA's ball joints replaced to no effect?

Correct. After they were changed the noise was exactly the same. After that I played with the top hat.

I think I'll try to pull out the UCAs tomorrow. Relube it all and shove it all back in. The UCAs were the crappiest part of the install given the bolts are long and hard to remove w/o bending metal body parts.

If that fails, I'll disconnect the sway bar and see if the squeak goes away.

If that fails, I'll burn the truck to the ground and see if that helps. :annoyed:

Y'all are making me want to ditch the UCAs and go with another brand for them. I've got all the other parts sitting while I wait on the back ordered UCAs, but I'm starting to think I should go JBA and sell the ironman ones whenever they show up.

The UCAs have not been an issue on mine, for what it’s worth.

Good luck figuring it out. Maybe it’ll end up being something easy. Have you retorqued everything?

I went with SPC and have been happy. I got my kit back in July/Aug and only got the stage 1 for a few reasons. I had always planned on getting the SPCs after reading about them (and didn’t have the extra cash when I bought the kit for the stage 2). Has worked out well for me so far. I had looked at JBA but some tire wheel combinations don’t work.

I had the same issue after I levelled up my truck. The shock was rubbing up against the sway bar.

Okay. I think I've found my squeak... Driver side UCA ball joint rubber boot has a small tear. Was almost dry inside and super loose-goosey. I put in 10ml red grease and drove a bit. No squeak! Now I either warranty them if I can or buy different UCAs or just replace the ball joints.

I can bet you that the creak is from your LCA. I chased this creaking problem for months. It turn out my left lower control arm sleeve is rusted where the cam bolt goes through it. You have to remove the cam bolt to grease the sleeve. I replaced with new LCA thinking it was bad ball joint. You can take it to alignment shop to ask them to remove the bolt to grease it . Creaks no more!
