    I have them installed and I like them. They do indeed just slip over the bare pedals. It took me a couple of tries to get them "all the way on"

    I have them. I like them very much. All the ones I see in the stores have bogus clips the attach to the pedals. These are replacement pads ( well the brake anyway ). The gas pedal has no pad, but the sport goes on like the brake pad. They are very secure, and look good...IMO.
    Below is a picture of my interior...you can see the pedals though.

    I have a manual and put some on mine. Took a bit to get all 3 all the way on. Wet them with a mild dish soap solution like the instructions say and then they will work on a bit easier.
    On my '91 truck, I wore out 3 sets of brake and clutch pedal pads. Hopefully these will last a bit longer, but it is hard to say. Once the wrap-around edge gives way, I felt they became slightly unsafe. The stock ones cost a few dollars so wasn't a big deal though.
