Anyone have a good place for alignment in South OC? Looking to crank up my coilover a small bit, couple places I called were quoting around $90, was hoping someone around would be closer to $50, going to adjust the coilovers myself

If you think you're going to get an alignment for under $90 think again. That's 100% not happening. And in the off chance you find a place that does $50 alignments you're not going to want them to touch your truck.

If you're just raising your coils you shouldn't need to get a new alignment if you're driving straight.

How high you cranking them? If it’s just a few turns you will be fine no need for alignment

its the fox out of the box height for the 2.5 coilovers right now, the driver side is about .50-.75" lower than the passenger side, was going to crank up the driver side maybe 1" and .25 on the passenger side

You don’t need an alignment. Just crank them you will be fine

If you're already aligned with them on, going up an inch isn't going to throw your alignment off

Must be the going rate then, haven't had to get an alignment done in years. Are there no issues with irregular wear on the tires without getting the alignment done after the adjustment?

Are they already installed? If you're going from OEM to a new suspension then yes, you should get an alignment. If you're already running the Fox's and just cranking an inch up, no, you don't need to get aligned again.

Lot of bad info on here.
Bear alignment in Corona is 65 bucks.. Best alignment your truck will ever get! They don't give a flying fuck what you've done to it...they will align it or you won't pay. Worth the drive IMO. Gotta make an appointment though.
Any change in ride height whether it be the back or the front will change your alignment. How much...well I couldn't tell you exactly but your tires wearing out prematurely will let you know for sure.
There's more in my head that I could tell you but you get the idea now right??

Thought you said it was more than that. Guess I heard wrong. Lifting up an inch or so doubtfully makes enough of an alignment issue to really warrant a fresh alignment unless you have money to blow. But that's just my opinion.

Also, everything I said lines up with what you said, besides the cost of alignment. Which I can admit when I'm wrong unlike some people in here

I was just correcting the statement that moving it an inch doesn't change much. It may or may not. You don't know until its on the alignment rack. People have the opinion that if it drives straight its good no matter what. Changing the height fucks with caster and camber both of which you cant really see or feel but it's changed. Though a big caster change will make your steering either lighter or heavier depending on which way it changed....so you may feel that I guess. Camber you can see if it changes enough to give you this / \ or \ / ... but an inch in height will most likely not be a noticeable change but it will change I'm just trying to put out the correct info.....your opinion really doesn't count as that.

If it drives straight it's good enough for me... but then again I've been driving with a pull to the right for the last 4 or 5 months. One day I'll take it in

I think I may have knocked it out a little more this weekend. I took a right turn without touching the steering wheel. I'll probably try and make an appointment next week. Won't be driving it much this week

Shit, one mild trip on dirt can throw off your alignment.

I would always suggest an alignment after any change in preload. That is, if you like even tire wear :notsure:
