HAHAHAHAHA, I just bought the ingredients yesterday and plan on making tacos at my sister's place tomorrow.

YES, I'll put on the GARDEN for those that don't know what good home cooking food really tastes like!!!

Btw, @dtaco06 Danny, I'm going to try to make those homemade beer battered fish tacos this weekend, but man, I priced out the Tilapia yesterday, for example, and it was $4.99/#. The cod, which is HUGE and I didn't know and/or realize how big cod was, is a bit more pricey from what I remember and the pieces were KRAZY BIG??? I could have asked the butcher about deals/options, but just decided to go because I had other crap I had to get to. Anyways, I'll let you know how that beer batter turns out if/when I finally make my own beer battered fish. For this time around, again, I just might get the pre-made fish fillets... just for now. I missed the part about you making yours tempura style. Sorry brotha. Didn't mean to make it sound like it the way I did. :sorry:

Anyways, I can hardly wait to make that white sauce recipe that you gave me. My sister really liked it and those shallot onions give it a really good taste. HAHAHAHA, my brother in-law F'N ate 90% of the shallot onions I was so F'N PI$$ED!!! o_O:frusty::annoyed: I made quite a bit too!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl: F'N douche bag!!! Going to make my own stash this time!!! HAHAHAHAHA :rofl::rofl:

Doing well. Avoiding idiots as much as I can!!!

My brother's cancer came back and is the reason I went to AZ unexpectedly... not planned at all. The doctor is pretty optimistic because the spots on the lungs are pretty small, but he wants to get my brother on chemo asap. He had a clot (dvt) in his leg and is the original reason he went to the hospital and that is when they found out the cancer.

Anyways, I may be going back again soon for 2-3x days towards the end of Dec? I don't know yet?

Other than that... avoiding idiots as much as I can!!! Oh, wait, I said that already!!! o_O:annoyed: LOL!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I mean, they got newer ones, but I remember paying around $180ish??? or thereabouts??? I honestly don't remember other than it got really good reviews and is the main reason I bought it over the more expensive ones. I just wanted a simple rangefinder and that one got good reviews, at the time, and fit the budget. I believe it is about the same price, but a higher model by now I'm sure. :notsure:

Hmmmmmmm, then I will just do that then so I can see how that beer batter turns out. Yeah, from what I remember, the shallots were pretty pricey compared to the bigger onions!!!:laughing::rofl::rofl::rofl: But hey, I don't make it all the time so I kinda don't mind all that much.

So, who wants first dibs on some Budweiser (filled/unopen) cans... likely 5x of them as I will only likely use 1x can? HAHAHAHAHAHA

Btw, how much is a 6x pack anyways... Budweiser? I forgot to look yesterday.:frusty:

Yeah, he was... ummmmm... NOT the happiest dude on earth. He was cursing "the dude upstairs", if you get my meaning???!!! I kinda don't blame the guy either. I forget the name, but they were giving him some sort of pain med through the IV because the blood clot was hurting him and it worked FAST!!! I mean, you could clearly tell he was in quite the pain. They would stick the needle in the tube thingy and like just seconds later he was feeling better. It wasn't morphine I know that much.

Anyways, he was fighting the pain in his leg pretty much the whole time I/we were there.

Thanks for the comment btw!!!:fistbump:

That liquid pain med started with a "d" if I remember correctly???

Thanks man!!! I felt so bad for the guy!!! He apparently has small spots on his lungs and don't know about the rest of his body, but the doctor seemed pretty optimistic that treating it now would likely get it to go away, but it needed to be done asap. Hence, the tests that they were giving him as well as trying to get him to get a procedure done asap. They just recently did a mesh for one procedure for the clot (i.e. to catch any particles if it decides to start to break-up) and then a stent. One of his kidneys "shrunk" a little.

Anyways, yeah, he didn't know how bad it was other than his leg hurting.
