Yea we are on our way to Colin's now. Girlfriend is driving since my truck is messed up more and more by the day.

The Hyoke got a fracture in it so the truck was undriveable. Well since I have the Prerunner, my driveshaft is different from the regular tacoma. They sell the yoke for the regular tacoma but for the prerunner you have to buy the whole driveshaft for $1,300. So they found a guy that does driveshafts north of west palm and they sent him the parts. Well now after the guy looked at it all, notices the part of the driveshaft connects to the hyoke is bent. Just freakin great! He had an old bent driveshaft laying around so is going to cut the end off and weld it to the driveshaft. So when all is said and done I will have new hyoke, ujoints and practically all new driveshaft. The bad news, I have to pay the driveshaft guy and the shop isn't going to charge me for labor. Originally it was going to be about $500 for the new yoke but now with the new welding, cutting and balancing, its going to run me over $700 and I won't have the truck back till Mon or Tues.

So I'm bummed about all that but I guess it could have been worse...like losing the driveshaft while driving haha
And now I get to ride around with everyone else.

The usage of the word driveshaft was quite extensive.

So looks like I can make this! Hoping to meet up with people in the am, don't know if I'll camp (camping in the summer in florida makes me hate life), but I certainly want to get down there and hit some trails.
