I just bought a brand new 2016 taco v6, sometimes engine rattles when idling. Does anybody have same problem?

I think I'm going to take it to dealer for check up.

Having just recently bought a '16 myself, I also hear this on mine.

It sounds like a sewing machine clicking away at times and seems like it's from the left side of the engine.

Everything I've read online says it has to do with cleaning out the fuel system and is a normal sound for the Tacoma.

Same here. Actually I had FORGOT about the injector clean cycle. At 1st I thought it was the AC or something like an idler pulley as we have several On the engine.

Lots of activity, and state of the art technology going on under that hood.
All new parts maybe breaking in you're bound to hear some unfamiliar noises over your previous vehicle that can make your heart pound harder and eye brows sweat after spending all that money.
The good thing is that it will settle down somewhat as you get more used to it.
It will take a little time for it all to break in, but if a anytime you see a check engine light or something too loud or abnormal, don't hesitate to take it to the stealership and ask to see or hear another brand new one to compare it too.

After 9k I have no issues, all smooth and runs great, plenty of ready to go power that runs better as the miles rack up.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!
