I was doing some research on the Fumoto valve I installed during my 1st oil change and came across this:

These guys have a worse case of OCD than I do.

My OCD has taken me under my truck three more times since last weekend and the Fumoto is bone dry. I do plan on strapping on a hose clamp to make sure the lever has no chance of working its way open. Overkill, I know, but that's everything I do...

I thought the point of the valve was to make oil changes easier? Wouldn't fumbling with a hose clamp before and after a drain defeat the purpose of the valve?

I have a Fumoto valve and have had it for about 3 oil changes. I haven't had any problems with it coming loose. I love that thing!!!

The fact that guy spent all that coin on an oil extractor makes me want to cry a little bit...
