Ocotillo night run August 3rd

It's not up to anybody to make you happy but yourself. People are always gonna bitch and moan about runs not being long enough, being too long, not challenging enough, too challenging, unorganized, too structured, whatever they can think of.

In the end, if you're not satisfied with a run, it's your own damn fault. Don't blame others for your lack of self guidance to have a good time for yourself.

For instance, I thought last nights run, although a BLAST, was a bit too short for me to drive 3 hours out to and back. So I stayed in Ocotillo for another 3.5 hours and made it worthwhile.

There were ALOT of trucks and people there. Not going to make everybody happy everytime...

 

Cant please them all, its all good. Haters gunna hate. Personally I hate big runs, but that doesn't mean im gunna complain if I go lol some peoples logic and reasoning.....hahahaha Glad everyone that matters had a good time and stayed safe.

 

Yea, I had a good time...I learned a while back that these big meets mean alot of standing around. You know, When I got bored I got in my truck and went and played within view of the meet so i could be good to go when everyone rolled out.

 

I had fun, typical big group slow downs but whatever, that's how it always is. If peeps gonna hate then don't come next time, problem solved.

Yea definitely. I had a blast. Got to see Vi's truck in action. That was awesome. Video's just don't do that thing justice.

 

Lol seriously. My buddies in their STOCK RANGER didn't even complain.

Except my buddies GF when her Ford broke down lol. She was starting to get pissy when we were like...uhhhh...yea...thats a good $300 tow right there lol.


Till we fixed it.

 

I have to say, with sooo many vehicles and people, why would anyone be bored or disappointed in last night? I went off with a few and did my own thing, but then met back up with my local trail buds for the drive back, all in all I had a blast, with so much to do and see there I'm astonished that how that was a bad run...

 

I have to back up Jeff on this, your buddies kept on keeping up, pretty awesome to say the least, especially given their issues with the truck, I bet they had fun!

Just read the recent posts- if they don't like our runs, then they can just fuck the hell off. We don't need a buncha bitchy fucking random-types around here. We're a close group and know what we like. They can organize their own faggy meet and see what kind of turn out they get. I had tons of fun; just like many of you said- take off and make it a day of your own if you're getting bored or shit isn't meeting up to your high standards.

I don't really care to see it. Even if we knew who it was in specific, it doesn't really change anything.

At least now they know not to go on these runs...better off staying at home if they can't find a way to have fun in the off road Mecca of the west coast.

Great run guys. It was my girlfriends and my first night run. And we had a lot of fun!! Can't wait to go on another run.

 

If you liked the run, then you'll love the camp-outs. Totally full of laughs and shenanigans and TONS of offroading.
