newbie here, but i'm willing to give it a try with my stock prerunner. add me to the list.

 

Only lights anyone is gonna need is their fog lights, everything else is just gonna make things worse unless you're 1st in the conga line. Might not be too bad if there is a breeze, otherwise this is gonna be a slow moving train.

 

WTF does slow mean? My throttle is either ON or OFF, so I just hooked it up to a button instead, modulation is for puusies.

I am thinking about going but I am more of a 1st place kinda guy, lol.

Maybe we could have a couple groups, the "A" team and "the others"

 

I'm down for splitting up the group. Nothing worse than having to guess which line to take because you can't see the tail lights of the guy in front of you, only to find out the guys up front were hitting jumps and whoops all night.

 

I have a open seat if anybody is interested. Just have to meet here in Poway before I leave.

Modified my Ham radio so it can xmit from 137.000 to 174.000. Now I can talk on the race radio freq 153.110 if need be. The mod also allows it to xmit from 420.000 to 470.000. I had to tape a magnifying glass to my glasses to see the resistor that had to be desoldered off the PCB.
The speck under the I is the removed resistor.

^ on that note, does anyone happen to have a spare handheld ham/2 way? I have my CB all hooked up, but it seems that a bunch of people are running hams now, I'd like to have both to keep in touch with all the groups


I ALMOST overnighted a handheld/antenna/hand mic but I have to buy the wife shiney shit for her Bday next weekend lol.

 

To the newbs, just look at driving in dust as driving in fog just keep a little distance between each other & you should be fine....have fun...

 

I've goth both ham and cb so I can relay info if needed.

Another question. I have yellow lenses for my lightbar...should I leave them on for this run. Think it will help like it does for fog?
