    Anything special your looking to do down there? I keep forgeting to post my trail run up in here. Maybe get it after work today. Its a cruise thru Anza hitting up Wind caves and Mud caves along the way. Should be a full day run.

    I'm going to have to refresh my memory and get my trail book out!The Wind Caves and Mud Caves are definitely a full day run!Everyone who is interested in doing those will want to get started bright and early for the day!I know i want to check out the wind caves again!So cool!Roughly a 1mile hike on foot up a mountain side is required to get to the spot!Definetely worth it!These pics are from my IPhone as an example!My better pics are on my actual camera!image.jpgimage.jpg

    That's awesome. I for sure want to see that. I am little worried my trail run may be a too long for a day. Anyways I'll post it up later and get some feedback from those that know the area.

    Maybe 30-40 minutes, I feel like it was less though. A good chunk of that was spent on the highway getting to the entrance, once in it wasnt that long at all. @TXpro4X4 @WileECoyote either of you guys remember how long it took?

    There are challenges here. I have not been to Anza or Ocotillo myself but have read about Calcite mine and Pinyon Mountain trail. Pinyon Mountain Trail has a cool obstacle at the end called "the squeeze" (google it) We were talking about it a couple pages back. Not sure I want to try the squeeze as you risk body damage and there no way around the obstacle but thats what all the armors for right.lol Are you looking to do some challenging stuff? I'm still researching exact trails I want to hit. But my regular crew is always down for the difficult stuff.

    Yes haha, I am a MOAB regular and tend to lean towards the difficult trails. I dont mind cruising a dirt road though if the scenery and destination are worth it.

    This is the area I frequent and allows the trucks to stretch their legs. But there are some areas that can be really challenging and there is truck haven which is a 4x4 playground.
