    Sad to hear:( I think you were more interested in hiking anyways, correct? This particular trip the weather still might be a bit on the warmer side of things :bananadead: LOL, it ended up being 103* one time when we went out shooting and walking approx 500yds, one way LOL, was F'N miserable, LMAO!!! :bananadead::rofl: Certain "people" were hell-bent on going out that day despite repeated warnings, we left about 2hrs before sundown, LMAO, ROFL!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl: Anyways, look into Mudcaves, Mortero, Calcite Mine (people hike up that trail as well), etc. I never hiked any of these trails other than just know that people explore these areas on foot and have seen people hiking some of these areas... well, "I" did go to the Mudcaves. Anyways, just some thoughts to keep in mind for when it definitely gets cooler. The heat out there is no joke and that is even with plenty of water and not even hiking so-to-speak!!! :eek::boom::bananadead:

    @ODNAREM Ron, it is MUCH closer, you should seriously also check out Palomar Mountain for hiking!!! :thumbsup:

    No that is not correct but appreciate you listening!There were particular areas i wanted to wheel and when you hit those destinations you could stop and explore on foot or just continue on and wheel!:thumbsup:

    I have been there and thanks Randy!I will explore if necessary but i don't hike like i used to with friends back in the days!If there is a big group that wants to go hiking and i'm interested i will join in!I want to wheel!
