    You are really mistaken. They require their own housing.

    It's possible to modify a non-e-locker housing to accept an e-locker diff if you don't mind cutting, welding, drilling, tapping, and machining.

    Just get a Rockjock :p

    If you want to make the drive there is an E-Locker diff on a 4Runner at Augusta, GA Pull-A-Part that will fit our trucks. If there is a Pull-A-Part nearer to you, Columbia at least that I know of, you can have the whole 4Runner shipped to that yard and pull it yourself.

    well my dad found the best deal we could find which was a yota 8" i believe that has very little surface rust with 4.30 in it. my new question is first is this the oem locker?

    ALL FREE AND NO NEIGHBORS....

    Not definite that it will be that weekend yet. That was what was floated by me today. I'm hoping that it will be closer to the end of the month and the wedding so I only have to make on trip up there. We will see.
