UPS has my new wheels :)

Lookin' forward to getting back on the trails. These damn rear springs need to be broken in bad. My truck looks like a bitch in heat  If I still lived in Salisbury, I'd come down there and help you wrench.

looks like a lot of fun i got a lof of memories in those old runners i was looking for one of those originally but i really dont have a lot of time to worry about fixing things up right now so i went with the 2001 taco but someday i will probably end up with a topless runner hitting up moab UT and retracing my foot steps... good times .. good times

Do you have weight in the bed? Throw 300 lbs. back there and drive it for a couple weeks.

And its cool, I pay my friends in beer to come help when they can ;)

Indeed, I have always loved old school Toyotas and I really enjoy wrenching on it.

    Bed Rack: 15lbs.
    Spare Tire: 80lbs.
    Hi-Lift: 20lbs.
    Extra Bumper Weight: 30lbs.
Three Fifty Pound Bags of Sand: 150lbs.
    Boxing Bag: 80lbs.

Total: 350 to 400ish pounds of weight. I've had it in there for like a month now. I'm not sure the suspension has even noticed.

I don't think it's going to break in until I can put some negative arch on 'em.

Waiting to find out if I got the time off. Good news is, it's only a 9 hour drive instead of 12, when I came from Florida

Yea those things are pretty damn beef. I seen OZ-T's truck filled to the top of the shell with fire wood and barely sagging, those are some serious springs.
