I suppose I'm in. Got the time off work. Got the OK from the family warden.

Will make more detail plans in the following week but roughly...I will have to work that Friday. Hopefully not at work past 5, go home, shower and hit the road. Plan on 5-6 hours friday night, find a hotel and finish up in the morning. Wheel and see what time it all gets done. Also have Sunday off, just in case.

    Ok, so, do I...

    -Take the TurnPike (I-70/76)
    -Or Take 80E

    ????

Pay for the toll, or 80E is about 30 miles longer. Help me out fellas, which way. Seems I can tack on about another $30 to the trip budget regardless.

Which way is the easiet, more relaxing, more visually asthetic way?

80E might give me a chance to meet up with another memeber or two as well. Toll highway is quicker.

Thought I would get the ball rolling on travel plans. As you can see I live in northeast Ohio and will be leaving around Noon on Friday the 19th. The route I will take is primarily 80E. Leaving at noon would put me there around 6:30pm.

If you are interested in caravaning, PM me and we can exchange phone numbers and determine a rendezvous point.

Well I'm pretty pissed off that i cant make it, But some issues have come up at work and i am not able to get those days off.

I do want to acknowledge that mrbadwrench is one hell of a guy, He was more than willing to let me ride along with him and when I offered to chip in for gas he said no way!! Thanks again Emmett for your generosity! And i am disappointed I will not be able to join you.

    +1 for you Emmett!

Yes this is the route I will also be taking. Meeting up with Nick in Mentor and convoying with him.

Pretty much any of the I-80 rest stops make great rendezvous places.

I'm scheduled until 5pm Friday. The soonest chance I get, I'm bolting. I'd like to get home and shower before leaving, but then take off Friday night at worst at 6.

I'm really hoping that I can get out around 3-4.

Probably go 70/76. Much straighter shot.

I'm thinking of trying to get to Carlise/Harrisburg Friday night and getting a hotel. About 6 hours from home. RC is about an hour from there. I'm not a big sleeper, get in late friday, sleep, up early and head to RC Saturday morning. I'll be amped up, so adrenline might carry me as well for a bit.

No one has really seen the truck since the front bumper/wheel recolor...ya'll be the first TW members to see it in person(s).

Anyone who wants, please PM your #'s so that I'm not in the middle of PA and get royally fucked. Going solo as I am, would help to ease fears knowing that I can contact those going to the same destination.

She's assisting with a wedding shoot in Philly... Nothin you'd want to check out...
If the kiddos were a bit older I'd bring them out for the run but if I tried it now they'd just be bored & drive me nuts.
