Was a lot of what was cut already reasonably dry wood, or are we going to be trying to burn green wood?

It was warmer for us as well. The jacket I took with me went unused.

 

Yeah forecast said low 50's coolest it got was 57-58 I believe.

 

Looks like I may have to bring a canopy

I hope my man-kini that I'm bringing doesn't go unused.

 

I'll bring my ezup if I've got the room. No rain in sight.

 

I was thinking of bringing mine too. It's going to be sunny all weekend, and will be a welcome spot for camping in the primitive spots.

For the caravan option leaving around 9, do you want to try to meet up somewhere? I see there's a Flying J off of 59 in New Caney. We could meet there at 930, and be off at 945? That location is about 3.5 hours from Gilmer.

I think I'll be leaving closer 8. Making a trip to the grocery store early then coming home, packing and leaving. How flexible is your departure time? Where are you anyways?

 

I'm up in the Heights. Probably a few miles away from Matt.

 

I'm stopping at the Huntsville hospital to pick up my co driver. He's leaving his vehicle there thus my route is 45. I can leave at 830 and be in the heights area at 9 .

 

So meet up before, head up to Huntsville, pick up your co-driver, then head to Gilmer?
