    Hey Everyone, my truck is a 2012 v6 with a 3" lift.

I've been noticing an odd clunk when I reverse and turn hard right.

The noise only happens when I start to straighten the wheels again and doesn't happen every time. The noise is sometimes loud and sometimes very quiet.

has anyone else had this issue? I just replaced the sway bar end links and sway bar bushings because they are the cheapest options to start with.

Do you have aftermarket UCAs? Take a pick of the lift and post it on here. If you can get a video even better

I bought the truck with the lift but I believe the UCAs are stock. It has a Revtek 3 inch suspension lift on it.

make sure your sway bar mounts are tight.

I put mine back together and drove for a while, and some bolts had loosened

Mines does the same thing. Thought it was maybe the sway bar, so I replaced the sway-bar links and bushings, but nothing. Will try to re-tighten them as @golfindia mentioned.

But I also considered that it may be my lower control arms, which I did replace as well, but same thing (or perhaps because they were some Mevotech aftermarket ones).

I also considered that perhaps it was my steering rack bushings, but have not gotten around to trying to replace those yet. I did try to torque them down just in case they were loose, but they're nice and tight.

I'd really like to mount a go-pro or other small camera in the wheel well to see what moves when it clunks like yours does. It really only does it when reversing and then turning right.. a bit embarrassing when I have other passengers in the car :annoyed:

there's too many options when it comes to suspension. very frustrating!

If you find the problem let me know and I'll do the same!

I'm going to replace the cv axle and see what happens but won't be able to get to that for a few days.
