I have a weird issue when I'm listening to Sirius/XM. I go through my presets looking for something to listen too. Sometimes there will be a song that hasn't started yet or is just starting when I cycle through and if I go back to that channel the song is halfway done or almost over even though it's only been 10-15 seconds. It doesn't happen all the time. I have searched trying to find out why but haven't found anything. It's probably a setting somewhere but then if it was it should be happening all the time I would think. Anybody else have this issue?

Who knows with technology? There were a few spots in the city where the radio would cut out in her 4Runner but that seems to have corrected itself. Happened in my friend's 4Runner as well. Toyota said it was a Sirius problem and Sirius said it was a Toyota problem

Sounds like exactly what is happening with me. But like I said, it doesn't happen all the time. and it never happens with a song I don't like. I go back hoping it's gone but it seems like the extended version and goes on forever, lol

i believe it's just a satellite buffer issue. no settings, or adjustments that can be made, just a nature of the beast

There is a setting to start at the beginning of a song. If you click away and then click back I think it tends to take you to the real time spot of the signal. Or depending on where the songs are spaced it might take you to the start of the next song which was playing in real time. Maybe...

However it gets funky when you first start using it and the memory is not built up yet. Maybe...

Sirius caches the song so you can go under bridges or be next to mountains for a short time without interruption. It can handle a few seconds of signal loss but more than that it will have to recache which means a gap in the music.

Never happened in my F150 and doesn't happen in my wife's 4Runner. That's why I thought maybe a setting somewhere. But like I said earlier if it was a setting it should be happening all the time which it doesn't. Maybe just something to do with how the software of the system interacts with Sirius?
