    Yeah.
    Welcome to TW. Seems like it is something to do with the belt or something the belt is turning. Could just be the belt itself. Check power steering fluid level, the belt condition, maybe release some tension and see if the idler pulleys turn smoothly.

    Has it been in/through deep water, or torrential downpours? How many miles on it? May just be time to replace the belt/pulleys/tensioner.
