My nephew and I are going to install a Toyota LSD in my truck this weekend. Currently I have an open diff and use synthetic gear oil. I'm not positive, but I think I read somewhere that the Toyota LSD and synthetic don't lkke each other. I believe it was mentioned that you get a lot of chatter, even if using LSD specific synthetic and additive. As of now, I have the additive, but I'm not sure if I shoild get my usual synthetic, or if dino oil is better in this case? Advice?
