I'll post up a pic in a bit, not sure of the brand, bought it in Italy in 1996. Best wallet I've ever seen, no bulk to it. Don't need, but ready for a replacement, just can't find anything like it. Anyone going to Italy soon?

Here it is, I've searched to my capabilities on the internet for another like it, if anyone can find one I would love to know. Its great because it is nice and flat, I have only found one other before with the same dimensions, but it was much thicker, when this one is fully loaded it is less than 1cm thick still. I know the OP was looking for American Made, but I wanted to throw this out there as a style of wallet and maybe you can find one. Hell, I would buy a new one if you found one like it Comfort and durability has been amazing.

It's a bifold with different size than your typical that are long and either fold in the middle width wise or length wise. Measures about 5"x3.75" closed
    [IMG]

Opened you have 2 slots for cards that hold about 4-5 depending on thickness.

Here are the only brands/names I see but haven't found another like it (I know its nearly 20 years old.

Has anyone ever had a carhartt wallet? I saw them at the store the other day and they looked pretty nice. I think one will be my next wallet.

Saddleback makes some fantastic leather, great choice!

I'm a whore for horses ass which is shell cordovan. I have 2 both made in the USA and both will last the rest of my life being made from shell. And both are thin enough to use as a front pocket wallet.
