Odd Rattling while Accelerating - Ideas?

    This is definitely not a normal noise. It’s only happened to me twice throughout the 22k miles I’ve put on it and it sounds like gears shaking almost. It went away that morning but I could still kind of hear it when I would get on the gas making the transmission shift.

    Hopefully it does not lead to a big failure down the road. It’s been fine since I originally created this post.

    Not really, sounds more like metal on metal contact.

    Do TSBs apply out of warranty? Similar to a recall?

    Yeah the sound I heard originated from the drivers side somewhere near the differential if I had to guess.

    Exhaust leak will sound like this, my 02 mustang had a leak that sound like all kinds of things banging around.

    Hmm, interesting. It’s only happened two times over the 1.5 yr and 22k miles so that’s what baffles me. If it was that I figured I’d hear it more often but it’s only happened twice.
