Hey guys, a little help needed.

So with my 2015 Tacoma it'll rough start every once in a while. It is always after the truck sat for atleast 4 hours. The only way to predict it happening is the truck will idle slightly rougher than normal prior to turning it off. It's barely noticeable but it's still there.

I was thinking probably just a simple issue like spark plugs, but the truck is only 3 years old and has <20k on it. So I'll probably throw some new plugs in this weekend, but was wondering if you all have any other suggestions. TIA!

I had the same issue. Found out the battery was draining due to leaving one of the interior lights on.

The dealer fully recharged the battery and I haven’t had an issue since.

Also note, this was really only happening during the winter when it was cold.

If you rule out battery issues, maybe clean the MAF sensor and throttle body when you get a chance and change air filter also. I’m thinking with only 20,000 miles in 3 years its a little gunky, dump a can of Seafoam in the gas tank, get it on the highway for a while and stretch its legs...

Those are all cheap easy DIY things to look for before you dig into it further.
