I was wondering if anyone on here has ran the BFG Al/T in the 275/70/16 size (load C). they are 1/2" taller than stock and about 1" wider. I am wondering if I would have clearance with the upper control arms. I know the 265/75/16 size will fit (I have Billie's at 1.75"), but I dont want to hurt gas mileage too much.

Should be fine with that size. There are people running 285/60/18's on there on stock suspension and they are wider and taller than the tire you're considering.
