Odometer 5 or 6 digit?

I just bought this 1995 Tacoma and the odemeter reades 340148. So my question is this a 5 or 6 digit odometer. Wondering if the 8 is the tenth column and the mileage reads 34,014.8 or 340,148 miles. I bought the truck because it is relatively good condition for its age. Engine doesn't smoke and runs good. Owner said they didnt drive it much. However this truck is 29 years old.

 

A quick look at the condition of the vehicle would tell you if it’s 34k miles or not
Or maybe drive a mile and see what happens

 

It’s 340k.

 

Did you pay 30k for it? If not it’s got 340k

 

Drive it for 1 mile and see what it does

You already bought it so - should of asked before

 

Mile increments are displayed in black letters on a white background, never white letters on a black background. So if there are six digits on a BLACK background, you have 340,000 miles.

 

I bet it's nautical miles since your a Coastie
