odometer questions

    i recently put a lift on my tacoma and i know my speedometer is off but is my odometer off as well?

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    if u put bigger tires on, yes....just a lift wont change it

    yes...any difference in tire size...whether its larger or smaller, will affect the speedo and the ODO. looks damn good BTW. the easiest way to check ODO being off is to drive the highway and compare it to the highway markers. the larger tires over stock will make the ODO read slower...ie free extended warranty for a lil bit if ur still under warranty

    any ways to correct them using the hypertech calibrator or anything else

    Most people, including myself, have discovered a 3-4 mph difference in speedo with OEM tires (i.e. reading 60 but going 57 mph). Adding larger tires corrected mine to almost dead on. You are probably right where you should be now. Verify it with GPS.

    lol, his tires are huge. I'm guessing 35's. My 33's throw me off almost 3-4 MPH slower than actual. He's nowhere near 'dead on' bro. But I do know what you mean with OEM.

    But I think I meant faster with OEM. I always get confused with that, lol.
