Odometer rollback- now what?

    you sound like a great dad! 4 banger or 6? Don't feel bad op, I was once in your exact same shoes.

    I feel in lust with a 22re toyota 4x4, it had low miles and the craigslist seller said he was the 2nd owner. I was so blinded by lust, when I test drove it, I didn't notice the odometer wasn't working. When I ran the carfax after I bought it, there were 5 or 6 previous owners.

    The kicker was, the sticker on the license plate was current so when I went to the dmv, the lady said I owed 800 in back registration (the piece of shit just put a current sticker on there) luckily the ca dmv will actually waive the back fees if you can show fraud from the seller.

    Long story short, it never gave me any problems and the piece of shit who I bought it from even had the nerve to try to buy it back from me when I sold it. The guy who bought it from me took it down to Guatemala

    This is very true

    Miles don't matter maintenance does

    Eve if not mantained it's still a Toyota and will still work fine like my basket case camry that had no odometer when I got it
