Hi all! I was hoping for some help with my 2006 SR5. I've got about 134,000km's on my odometer, but the other day just driving along my display switched to trip b. Does anyone know how I can get it back to the normal trip a with the cumulative odometer? Also I have definitely not driven 1300+ since this happened. All other electronics are working in the cab. Thanks

Stupid response, but have you tried using the trip button to cycle back to the odometer? Gotta cover the bases.

Where is the trip button located exactly? All the controls I've got on the left of the steering wheel is for my mirrors, Everything on the right is for the radio...

It’s the little stick poking through the gauge cluster.

It's to the right of the odometer display, quick press changes (Trip A, Trip B, Odometer) Press and hold resets the trip meter currently displayed (also used to reset the Maint Required light).

IIRC, the trip select/reset button is just to the right of the speedometer.

Its a small stick, like @gotoman1969 said.

I got it with the little stick! My button doesn't have a label. I'm fairly new to this truck as I just got it a few months ago, so thanks for helping out a tacoma noob!

Press the ODO TRIP button to change it back.

If you pay some one to do your oil changes, they may have hit it while resetting the MAINTENANCE REQ light.

Suggest you spend a bit of time paging through the Owner's Manual. Many tips and "how to" are detailed.

Don't feel bad, I had to google where mine was too. I had the truck detailed when I bought it and you couldn't even see it. At first I was flabbergasted thinking these trucks didn't have trip meters...
