    i have a '11 SR5 4x4 double cab. 6 disc non-JBL. i have no nets.

i noticed in the owner's manual is says something about net hooks for vehicles with subwoofer. i don't have a sub and i don't see said hooks in the area they mention (there are different hooks though), however i do have the hooks in the center console. it says nothing about that in the manual.

so, should net(s) have been included with my truck? i looked everywhere in the truck and found none.

    thanks.

I have a base model double-cab PreRunner, and I too can find no nets.

just asked a service guy about it when I was up there picking up my bed extender. He said that dealers often add it as an accessorie and then add it to the cost...huh...and that is why I didn't get it.

i noticed that when i bought my 2010 DC and i asked the dealer about it. so he went around the lot checking a bunch of the other new tacos and they didn't have them either. so he said i would have to buy that seperatly. wtf

It's strange that they stopped supplying the nets...my 07 came with the center console net and the one above the subwoofer behind the rear seat. Have you tried going past the dealer and asking Toyota Corp? If they don't want to include the nets they shouldn't put the tabs in for them!

When I flipped the rear bench 60 down in my 2011 DC TRD I found a bag with the net in it. I was surprised it was there. Didn't know I had one.

When I looked carefully at the area above my sub woofer (I have JBL), there were 4 hooks to attach the netting.

I don't know if I'll use it, but I guess it would be good for some type of storage if you want to keep flares, flashlight etc.

I know their cheap, but I'm broke, I just bought a $30k truck! They have $30k now, so let them give me a $4 net :D

    edit: check $8 net

When I bought the truck I asked the dealer what attached to the little tabs in the console, but he had no idea of any accessories available. Feeling the need to organize a rather large compartment, I made this little caddy with some materials I had laying around. I later came across this thread and thought I would share what I came up with. Now that it has been in use for some time, I plan on making another one and adding additional little pockets on the sides to stow smaller items. What do you guys think of console caddy 1.0?
