Just do an internet dealer search and find a Vin for a 2014 Tacoma with Nav/Apps and use it. The Vin can be used in up to three accounts so the real owner should not have issues when they activate the unit.

Excuse my ignorance, but how does one hook up a USB port to these? My 2010 doesn't have USB, only Aux. So that makes one extra cord needed.

Installed mine last night - took me about 30 minutes to swap out the units and reinstall - thanks FLTrucks!

ETA - this was an Entune Plus (non-JBL) to an Entune with Nav swap out in a 2014 Tacoma with the shark fin antenna. All cables were already in place and all I really had to do was install the brackets and move the Sat unit from the original unit to the new Nav unit.

Can anyone tell me if the shark fin antenna will help update your location any faster than the antenna that this unit came with? I mounted mine high up in the dash above the instrument cluster face up and although pretty accurate it's still a couple seconds behind.

    Thanks

So I have a question about this I recently swapped my radio out of my 2014 it was an entune non-jbl and my question is how do I remove that antenna that you have in the first post? Im looking to sell it all once I pull that antenna.

Wow… that was easy! My Son and I installed it in under 30 minutes… Thanks FlTrucks for super easy transaction and a great nav unit…

Only issue is with my vin so in need of number to make entune work? Says my vin is not entune capable? Dealer said the truck was so i don't get it?

You need to get a VIN from a truck that came with factory Nav unit. Search the web. It worked for me.

I have had mine for over a month and finally got around to installing it. Super easy. I have a 2014 Tacoma so the plugs matched up perfectly and with the shark fin there was no need to use the enclosed Nav antenna. Just had to connect the separate XM box and all was good. Thanks FLTrucks.

I've read all the posts on this and have a question. I have a 2006 and I see it comes with nav antenna, will it all plug and play or will I have to get some adapter wires. I saw someone say had to have adapter for am/fm antenna, someone said had to splice wire for speed sensor. Any help be appreciated. I'm old but can take out old one and plug in new one if that's all there is to it
