    unit came in the mail today and looks great! If only the harnesses and USB adapters shipped as fast as FL_Trucks shipped this unit, I'd already have it in my truck. Hopefully I'll get it in this weekend, and will post pics when I do. For those keeping score, I'll be doing a non-jbl fit into a 2012 truck and plan on full functionality including USB port.

    PS - anyone wanna PM me a VIN that's available for registering this bad boy???

    invoice rec'd and paid a few days ago! can't wait for the tracking number.....! all adapters also on order/received! ready to go in my 05. also installing OEM backup camera, need to wire all the way from the back harness. i _think_ i can figure it all out.

    EDIT: Ok so after reading through this thread a little bit. I'm wondering if this'll just be plug n play for me. I have '13 with Entune, JBL and Navi. Do I need to get some adapter in order for this unit to work with full functionality?

    this was the response I was expecting. lame. Anyone know where I can get the same thing with JBL? Or anyone know if there's a wiring harness I can use to convert from JBL plug type to non-JBL type?

    It's not needed for the radio or navigation. It's needed to activate the entune app suite like movietickets.com, iheartradio, etc. Those only work if you have a smart phone to provide cellular data service for those apps.

    If you want to use the apps, you need to find a Dealer or Private listing showing the VIN number for a 2104 Tacoma with the Entune Premium Navigation option. Enter the VIN when setting up the app. The VIN is good for 3 set ups so it is unlikely the future owner(s) will have issues.
