    The radio itself...basically the same
Plugs in the back of the radio completely different since he jbl uses an amp to power up the speakers etc.

Yea jbl will say on the radio and if doesn't say look at the bottom door speakers and it will have a jbl badge
If you really wanna make sure, pop the rear seats out from the back and see if there's and sub with amp.
Jbl is only available in the double cab form

Yes I everything that I have read on this thread leads me to the conclusion that it will work with some small changes in wiring. It seems there is alot of resources out there to make it fairly easy. If I am wrong I hope someone will set me straight.

As others have posted throughout this thread, once you PM him you can't expect to hear anything back until he has one for you. He then sends you the payment instructions, which includes the tracking information. Mine took about three weeks, start to finish, but it is all dependent on how many are on order and how many he gets in to sell each time. The radio was well worth the patient waiting.

FLTrucks is the man! I pm'd him on 8/12 and got his reply that he had one on 8/25. Paid on the 26th and it arrived on the 29th. I bought a new 2014 TRD Sport 4x4 Long Bed in early August and wanted the premium with Nav option, but the dealers could not find one on the east coast with it (had them on the short beds, but not the long beds? - I live in Virginia). Thanks to this forum and thread, I went ahead and bought the truck with the Entune Audio Plus (no Nav) knowing/hoping I could get the Nav unit for less than it would cost if I had bought the option on the truck from the dealership. As everyone has said previously, it was a 30 minute completely plug-and-play swap for me. GPS recognized my location right away. No calibration/adjustment necessary.

The only thing I find strange is how this thread and FLTrucks is the only reasonable way I could find to upgrade to the stock Nav unit. Before I bought the truck, I had called a Toyota dealership to find out how much it would be to just buy the Nav unit by itself. I am not kidding when I tell you they gave me a price of over $4,000. I don't know if you can even find an aftermarket Nav unit close to that much. Absolutely ridiculous. And when I asked the salesman if he could add the unit to the sale of the truck and just give me an IOU for when it came in, it was like I just asked them to solve a quantum mechanics equation. Anyway, maybe I just came into buying this truck at the end of the model year and there weren't many left to choose from. But with laws being passed in many states against the use of any hand held electronics while driving, navigation options should be much more abundant and standard rather than only on limited trim packages.
