    Hey All!

I'm looking to understand whether there's anyway to convert the front facing camera on my Tacoma to an anytime camera. As a bit of context, I have a 2020 TRD Sport with the 360 camera view. Would love to know the communities thoughts as I've researched this topic, but am coming short of any answers. Thank you!

Do you mean to just enable manual override of the front camera to have the same function as Anytime Front Camera?

I haven’t seen a specific topic, but I would imagine that this would involve figuring out the wires for the OEM front camera and splicing a switch to enable manual override

Just found this when searching. I think the biggest issue is going to be dealing with the speed sensor wire. The front and side cameras only operate under a certain speed. I guess the speed wire would have to be spoofed somehow or reroute the front camera wires to the rear camera wires and do the anytime rear camera mod…this was my first 2 min of searching so I could be way off. I did a ton of car audio in the past so I have some experience.

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
Panoramic camera system has ALL cameras wired into the Parking assist ECU then the video feed is sent to the head unit.
All cameras are also tied into the CAN-BUS system.

Well that makes shit a lot more complicated. I wonder if the speed can just be spoofed to the parking ECU then. Or they are still just video feeds so the anytime backup camera mod with some switched video feeds could work.

I have the 360 cameras also. My truck came with a pioneer head unit and I can turn them on while driving but they turn off after 10-20? Mph. Is this the case for OEM head unit too? I wouldn't mind being able to turn them on going a bit faster

Where did you get that image? Do you have the service manual for the '20+? I can only find the older one.

Yeah it shuts off at <10 mph too. I would love to use them anytime. If I can get a copy of the service manual I am going to try and figure out some solution.

I'm interested in this as well. The 360 cameras turn off at 10kph/6mph :annoyed:

I agree. On another note, I did discover that you can select "auto" when the 360 camera is on and the images will display anytime your at or below 6mph.
