Yes it does have the long white plastic clips that secure to the door sills.

the clips from around the rear under seat compartments will be reused but everything will fit like the original carpet did

Yes, the all-weather floor comes with those plastic channels on the sides. I don’t believe anything has to be transferred.

But… Because the normal way of fixing the floor mat through those plastic toggles mounted to the floor would defeat the purpose of “all-weather” by needing holes in the mat, Toyota came up with a different system. There are special brackets and appropriately-sized screws that mount to the elevated structure running between the front seat mounts. The brackets are shaped so they mount “high” and lay flat on the floorboard.

I’ll add photos and part numbers later.

 

Here are the brackets and screws that add floor mat retention toggles to the all-weather floor.

 

Now somebody finds them after i already made some steel ones for the drivers side...lol

 

Is it necessary to run floor Matt’s still with this vinyl floor liner installed to prevent foot wear? Or is it robust enough you don’t really need them?

 

If it wasn't so pricey, I'd love to get access cab length and just cut it to fit in my regular cab and add the retention clips for my weathertechs. Would be so much better than the lame gray carpet.

 

with how hard this flooring is to get I would say some Toyota all weather mats are cheap insurance so the flooring doesn’t get thrashed.

 

i run my weathertechs without the clips and have no issues.. they fit so snug in there, they don't slide around... if you had a non-form fit floor mat, i see where the clips would be needed since they would slide on the vinyl.

spray down a thick layer of plasti-dip to protect the floor and call it a day

I run Husky mats made for vinyl flooring. It keeps dirt and spilled fluids confined to the mats instead of seeping under the flooring.

 

oh I guess things have changed. Like a year and a half ago dealers where saying discountinued or unavailable country wide.

 

Just found this thread. Is it still possible to get a double cab, short bed, manual trans version (2011 6 spd, manual)?? I did some Initial internet searching and it looks like I can get a set. The Toyota dealer that comes up mentions carpet. Is this just a typo?

can confirm that 5851004890B2 is the part umber you want for a double cab manual.

In there system they call it carpet. Do you have a specific link that has vinyl in the description?

 

the part description direct from Toyota says carpet so that’s gonna be the description everywhere is my guess.

 

when I googled the p/n for your dc manual, the pic comes up as the vinyl flooring, not carpet.The numbers that @BassAckwards listed in this thread should be correct. You should give the dealership that you are ordering from your VIN for proper fitment.

 

oh I’m just saying on my reciept from Toyota when I bought mine the part description says carpet.

 

I did the search on the computer and expanded the pic. It definitely looks Vinyl now. Thanks. I will order in a couple weeks.

 

Thats what I figured. Hopefully the pt# takes care of any sort of issue with it being called 'carpet'.
